Accounting firm intern

We are a CPA firm located directly across the river from Sac State whose staff is over 75% Sac State graduates! Our practice focuses on small to medium sized businesses and provides strategic planning, tax planning and tax compliance services.

We are looking for an accounting student who would like to come in and see what it is like to work for a local firm. You would be starting with the basics including gathering client information, scanning documents and assembling them for preparation, digital assembly of business and individual tax returns for distribution to clients and other basic office tasks. As your time and experience increase, there would be opportunity to assist in accounting services and basic tax return preparation.
We have a great office and team in place. Our ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and will be someone we look forward to coming to work with every day. We value a work-life balance and have structured our firm and workload so that our staff don’t work 60-80 hours a week (even during tax season!). The intern position is for approximately 16-24 hours per week and can be scheduled around your class schedule.

Compensation:
$16 per hour
