The Office of Human Resources supports the goals and objectives of the University through the development, implementation, and maintenance of human capital. Oversight of policies, and processes include the recruitment, development, and retention of diverse, competent, and talented academic, professional, and support personnel. Services performed in Human Resources are mandated by University policy, trustee policy, memoranda of understanding, and state and federal statutes and regulations. Employment Services is responsible for the coordination of personnel policies and programs in recruitment and employment matters for staff and students in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreements. The unit provides support to University administrators on employment matters concerning staff and student employees; administration of temporary employment staffing services; administration of the staff performance evaluation system; and employment orientation of new staff and student employees
