Job Description

Chick-fil-A Elk Grove Marketplace is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations who can execute the store vision and business plan. The ultimate goal for this role is to prepare individuals to pursue their own Chick-fil-A franchise. This leader will oversee all aspects of the drive-thru operation to ensure operational excellence while also having the opportunity to speak into the future success of the business. After about 3 months of learning the basics of the restaurant, this individual can expect to progress into Director-level responsibilities and will accomplish a wide range of tasks from analyzing results and metrics, implementing new strategies, managing their team, and leadership development. This person will ultimately be responsible for the growth and development of the leaders on their team. After 2-3 years of learning and adding value to the business, this individual will be prepared to apply to Chick-fil-A Corporate’s Leadership Development Program (LDP), a program that Chick-fil-A selects future Operators out of.

POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure operational excellence within drive-thru operations
  • Understand and maintain awareness of key metrics for success including order accuracy and customer experience measurements
  • Lead teams of up to 10-15 team members on a shift
  • Responsible for growing and developing strong team of leaders
  • Collaborate on best practices with other members of Operations Team
  • Develop and implement structural systems based on different analytics
  • Communicate vision and direction to team members
  • Help shape the business and bring new ideas to the table
  • Develop and execute team development rhythms and structures
  • Meet regularly with the Director of Operations and work as a partnership with other Directors
  • Ensure Chick-fil-A Elk Grove Marketplace is meeting and exceeding all Chick-fil-A standards

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 1-2+ years of previous leadership experience that demonstrates strong leadership ability (in college or work setting)
