The Board's Enforcement Unit is currently recruiting for an Associate Governmental Program Analyst or Staff Services Analyst to review complaints, conduct administrative investigations against barbering, cosmetology, and electrology schools, and evaluate private postsecondary school applications and curriculum.

The mission of the Board is to ensure the health and safety of California consumers by promoting ethical standards and by enforcing the laws of the barbering and beauty industry. The Board employs a large and diverse team of technicians, field inspectors, analysts, and managers. Staff is responsible for the licensing, examinations, inspections, and enforcement of the beauty industry.
