Internship Information

If you are interested in hiring one of our students and would like the student to be able to earn academic credit for the internship, the following requirements must be met. For additional information, please visit our website.

 

Employer Requirements Student Requirements
  • Position must provide at least 150 hours of work over the course of a regular semester (usually, 10-15 hours per week)
  • Must be a declared Business Administration major student
  • Position must be paid
  • Must have a GPA of at least 2.5 (2.75 for Accy and MIS)
  • Position must be challenging at a level considered 'degree enhancing' and on par with a college business course
  • Class standing of Junior with at leaast 75 units completed
  • Position  must have a designated supervisor
  • Must have completed 15 upper division 100 level courses in the CBA
  • Must be willing to provide official job description and offer letter to student to turn in to our office
  • Must have completed the WPJ prior to enrolling in an internship for academic credit
  • Supervisor will be asked to complete an evaluation at the end of the semester.
 
  • Employer will be asked to complete an Academic Internship Site Agreement with the university
