Tim Lewis Communities, Inc., is seeking a paid intern to help our Director of Land Acquisition search for zoned properties in Northern California, the Bay Area, and parts of Nevada.  We are ideally looking for an undergraduate student that is majoring in Geography (Metropolitan Area Planning, Business Analytics, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, and/or Planning and Urban Development. This part-time Land Intern role is a great opportunity for a local college student currently studying real estate development, infrastructure, or public-sector projects. The Land Intern will support projects and activities related to identifying, evaluating, and securing real property interests for development in California and Nevada. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real estate transactions, feasibility studies, due diligence, entitlement processes, and coordination with landowners, agencies, and internal teams.

Auditor Appraisers perform a variety of duties related to the investigation, auditing and appraisal of personal property for tax assessment purposes. Incumbents must have detailed knowledge of professional auditing and accounting principles and techniques prior to appointment. Incumbents at Level I receive training in provisions of Revenue and Taxation Code and other laws and regulations governing the valuation of personal property for tax assessment purposes. NOTE: The level at which initial appointments are made, and advancement from the lower to the higher level of this class (Level I to Level II), is at the discretion of the appointing authority providing the minimum qualifications and Special Requirements are met.
