Board Op Coordinator

Bonneville Seattle is looking for someone interested in serving as a Board Op Coordinator. This role is a promotion in duties for an existing full time employee.

The role of the Board Op Coordinator would entail, in addition to someone’s regular duties:

• LEAD in hiring all board operators.
• SCHEDULE board ops on across all stations and shifts.
• OVERSEE and assign training for board ops on all stations and shifts.
• SERVE AS TEAM LEAD and regularly communicate with team and provide performance feedback.
• ASSIST with Zeta and station logs

Qualifications:

• One year radio control room and/or producing or programming experience
• Proven audio editing skills
• Proven technical abilities. Able to (or learn how to) navigate a digital board and use Office suite of products.
• Familiar with Adobe Audition (or comparable program)
• Knows how to run Wheatstone, NewsBoss, and Zeta.
• Self-starter who takes initiative.
• Digital/website experience preferred.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, handle stress and responsibilities and multi-task
• Proven knowledge of FCC rules and regulations.
• Strong, proactive communication skills – both written and oral
